R R Resources Muddy Rose

Rose is a 50% recorded grade. She is very large and has a wonderful, natural stance. We took her to the Roseburg, Oregon show on June 10th, 2000 as a dry yearling. It was a two ring show for the juniors. She placed 2nd out of six in the 1st ring and won junior reserve grand champion. She placed 1st out of six in the second ring and won junior grand champion in second other ring. We didn't show her again as a junior, but definitely will be showing her as a milking 2 year old this coming spring! Her mother milked 2 1/4 gallons per day in 2000 as a four year old. Her mother is a wonderful goat, well attached udder, except a pocket in the front. Our Klinger has been really attaching the udders, especially the foreudders, on his daughters so far. We've seen some major improvement on his offspring. We have very high hopes for our Rose! The only flaw we've seen so far in Rose is, when she is alert (as in the goat show!!) her ears are VERY "airplane", but as a grade that didn't count in the judging. The judge did comment on that before she awarded her the junior grand championship. I hope to improve on that with our other buck, Kleid.
